August was another good reading month for me. I managed to read one more than I did in July so I am happy. โ€” I was able to read 9 books in total!

Pages read: 2,658

While the Storm Rages by Phil Earle – Started: 29th July – Finished: 3rd August.
This is a standalone book that I read physically. I read this as part of my new job role coming September. I will be teaching reading (comprehension) lessons and this one of the Year 8 books. I enjoyed this even though I normally do if a book is set during World War II.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

People Like Them by Minka Kent – Started: 3rd August – Finished: 4th August.
This is book #3 in the Obsession series which I read as an ebook on my kindle. I read this as part of my ‘Amazon Originals’ Summer Project and thought that it was okay.

Dungeons & Dimwits Vol 1 by James Mascia (blog tour) – Started: 4th August – Finished: 4th August.
This is book #1 in the Dungeon & Dimwits series that I read as PDF for a tour here on my blog.ย I had so much fun with this and can’t wait to continue on with the series!

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer – Started: 15th August – Finished: 17th August.
This is book #3 in the The Twilight Saga series which I immersive read. I listened to the audiobook on Audible whilst reading it physically. I enjoyed it but not as much as the previous books. My hatred for Jacob grew so much after this book!

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Delicious in Dungeon Vol 9 by Ryoko Kui – Started: 18th August – Finished: 18th August.
This is book #9 in the Delicious in Dungeon series which I read physically. Iโ€™m really enjoying this series but this has been one of the weakest books in the series so far. I was a little bored with this volume in honesty. Hopefully the next book redeems it for the series.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – Started: 18th August – Finished: 24th August.
This is a book #1 in the The Hunger Games series that I read physically. I read this as part of my new job role coming September. I will be teaching reading (comprehension) lessons and this is the Year 9 book. I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to.
