Now, I know I am late to the party with this challenge since we are already in September; however, I stumbled across it through social media and decided to take part. Admittedly, I donโt think Iโll complete it, but Iโm determined to give it a good go! I havenโt really participated in reading challenges before, so Iโve decided that needs to change. Therefore, what better one to start with than The 52 Book Clubโs 2025 Reading Challenge? Additionally, I came across a blog post about this very challenge from The Book Haze, which inspired me to write my own post so that I can be held accountable.

What is the challenge?
The 52 Book Clubโs annual reading challenge is made up of 52 unique reading prompts. The goal is to match one book to each prompt, for a total of fifty-two books over the year. Prompts are related to everything from specific words in the title, to cover design, authors, genres, settings, themes, characters, etc. (Think of it like a giant bookish scavenger hunt!) We encourage participants to try books outside of their regular reading comfort zones and push themselves to read more, read differently, and get creative with it!
I have listed below the 52 Book Clubโs list of prompts for 2025. These prompts are linked to the Goodreads Lists for books that fit each prompt. I copy and pasted them from here and I will be linking to each of them and updating this post with the book I have read once I have completed a prompt.
