Book Review
I was on a trip with some of the students from the school I work at and I saw this in the gift shop of an art gallery we were visiting. I am absolutely OBSESSED with pandas so when I saw it, I just knew I had to get it! This review is going to be really short as I think the book speaks for itself.
If you have read The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy, this book is giving exactly those vibes. It shows on Goodreads as a children’s book. However, I definitely think it would work well for teens and adults as well.
It is beautifully illustrated to go along with the beautiful story of a panda and dragon going on a journey. The entire story is composed of inspirational sentences that can be related to and reflected on when going through life–building friendships, life lessons etc.ย You might just think it is a cute picture book but do not underestimate it! I guarantee it will speak to you as much as it did to me. It touched my heart and really made me think of life in general. It is definitely a ‘read in one sitting’ book and is based on Buddhism and spiritualism. There is one more book in the series which I definitely want to read and add to my collection.
