July was another good reading month for me. Didn’t read as many as the previous month but happy with my total. I also hit my reading goal in July yay! โ€” I was able to read 8 books in total!

Pages read: 2,009

Battle of the Fang by Chris Wraight – Started: 30th May – Finished: 4th July.
This book was read both physically and listened to on Audible. I find immersive reading Warhammer 40K books much easier than just reading physically. I had a fun time with this one as it is a Space Wolves novel.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Shine, Pamela! Shine! by Kate Atkinson – Started: 6th July – Finished: 6th July.
This is book #7 in the Out of Line series which I read as an ebook on my kindle. I read this as part of my ‘Amazon Originals’ Summer Project and I didn’t really enjoy it…

Rating: 2 out of 5.

A Trick of the Light by Josh Reynolds – Started: 8th July – Finished: 11th July.
This is a standalone Warhammer 40K novella which I read as an ebook on my Kindle. This is another Space Wolves book which I quite enjoyed considering its length.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Steady for This by Nathanael Lessore – Started: 6th July – Finished: 14th July.
This is a standalone book which I read physically. I read this as part of my new job role coming September. I will be teaching reading (comprehension) lessons and this is the Year 7 book. I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Ashes of Prospero by Gav Thorpe – Started: 12th July – Finished: 14th July.
This book was read both physically and listened to on Audible. I find immersive reading Warhammer 40K books much easier than just reading physically. I had a fun time with this one as it is a Space Wolves novel.

Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys – Started: 18th July – Finished: 18th July.
This is a standalone book which I read physically. A colleague at work recommended me to read this and I’m so glad she did. What a powerful book that will stay with me!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage – Started: 19th July – Finished: 21st July.
This is book #1 in the Rebel Blue Ranch series which I read physically. I had a fun time reading this and will definitely be continuing on with the series!

This is book #5 in the Blaze series which I read as an ebook on my kindle. I read this as part of my ‘Amazon Originals’ Summer Project and I actually really enjoyed it!
