October was another good reading month for me in terms of books read and rating wise โ€” I was able to read 9 books in total!

Pages read: 3,388

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak – Started: 3rd October – Finished: 9th October.
This a standalone book which I read physically. I was never intending to read this book but I saw it in the school library and thought why not. I find World War II books fascinating to read and this did not disappoint.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Break Your Glass Slippers by Amanda Lovelace – Started: 9th October – Finished: 10th October.
This is book #1 in the You Are Your Own Fairy Tale series which I read physically. This is the first proper poetry book I’ve read since the ones from when I was in high school. Very quick read but powerful as well.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula – Started: 10th October – Finished: 10th October.
This is a standalone Audible Original book which I listened to on Audible. I had such a fun time with this one as it was a full-cast production with music and sound effects. I listened to this in one sitting and would highly recommend!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Delicious in Dungeon Vol 10 by Ryoko Kui – Started: 11th October – Finished: 11th October.
This is book #10 in the Delicious in Dungeon manga series which I read physically. This was an improvement from the previous instalment and I had a fun time reading this.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Cilka’s Journey by Heather Morris – Started: 15th October – Finished: 18th October.
This is book #2 in the Tattooist of Auschwitz series which I read physically. Just like the first in the series, this was a very powerful and heart-breaking read. Will definitely be finishing the last in the series next year!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros – Started: 13th October – Finished: 20th October.
This is book #3 in the The Empyrean Series which I immersive read, both physically and audibly. It was such a let down for the series so far! That being said, I will continue on to see if the next book (whenever it comes out) can redeem it for me.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Grim Tidings by B.K. Borison – Started: 20th October – Finished: 22nd October.
This is book #2 in the Ghosted series which I read physically. I absolutely LOVED this book just as much as the first in the series! I immediately need book 3 to be released now! Highly recommend.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Loving a Vampire is Total Chaos by Aura Hayes – Started: 25th October – Finished: 27th October.
This is book #1 in the Total Chaos series which I read physically. I surprisingly had such a good time with this considering I went in pretty much blind to the plot. So looking forward to getting to the next one at some point in the future.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas – Started: 27th October – Finished: 29th October.
This is book #4 in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series which I immersive read, both physically and audibly. This was an okay read considering it is a little novella. Nothing special but a cute time.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
