Thereโs something quietly satisfying about looking back at a few months of reading. As Q3 is now wrapped up, Iโve taken some time to dig into my reading stats: new-to-me authors, monthly favourites, and my 5 star reads. This isnโt just a numbers recapโitโs a snapshot of my reading life so far this year.
Stats
I have been trying to get into reading more on my kindle this year and listening to audiobooks–not doing too bad so far. I’ve managed to read 15 physical books, 8 kindle books, and 0 audiobooks by themselves. However I did have 4 immersive reads (audio and physical) These put me at a total of 27 books which managed to get me way over my reading goal for the year!
On average I had pretty good reading months. I read 8 books in July, 9 books in August and 10 books in September!
With my physical and kindle books combined, I’ve managed to read 7,299 pages.

New-t0-me Authors
I always love discovering new authors and exploring new books! I’m proud to say that so far I’ve managed to discover 16 more in the last 3 months (7 male and 9 female). Some I will definitely be revisiting and some that I won’t…
- Kate Atkinson

- Lyla Sage
- Melanie Benjamin
- Phil Earle
- Minka Kent

5 Star Reads
I’ve only had 2 five star reads during this quarter… and they were both new reads!

Monthly Favourites
I like to track my monthly favourites so that throughout the year they can compete against each other to find the #1 at the end of 2026.

‘Amazon Originals’ Summer Project – UPDATE
I started this project in June and I am including it in this post as it’s part of Q3. I have managed to read 14 out of 194 books. However, before I launched this project and back in Q1, I’d already read 3 of them. So technicallyyyyy I’ve read 17 out of 194.

How many books did you manage to read during Q3 of 2026?
